Sobi licenses lacutamab from Innate Pharma in $75M upfront deal

Swedish Orphan Biovitrum AB (Nasdaq Stockholm: SOBI), known as Sobi, and Innate Pharma SA (Euronext Paris: IPH, NASDAQ: IPHA) announced a licensing partnership for lacutamab, an anti-KIR3DL2 antibody in development for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL).

Under the agreement, Sobi will pay Innate Pharma $75 million upon closing. Innate is eligible to receive up to an additional $40 million in near-term development milestones tied to Sézary syndrome, and up to $465 million related to a Sobi option for full development rights and future regulatory and commercial milestones. Innate will also receive tiered double-digit royalties on net sales.

Innate will conduct the TELLOMAK-3 Phase 3 confirmatory trial in CTCL, which is intended to support a planned accelerated approval filing in Sézary syndrome, a rare and aggressive leukemic form of CTCL. The study will also support applications for full approval in Sézary syndrome and mycosis fungoides. Sobi will receive exclusive global commercialization rights upon potential accelerated approval and may assume full global development rights following positive Phase 3 results.

Closing of the transaction is subject to conditions including antitrust clearance.

Lacutamab holds Fast Track and Breakthrough Therapy designations from the FDA for Sézary syndrome, PRIME designation from the EMA, and Orphan Drug designation in both the U.S. and EU for CTCL.

Jonathan Dickinson, CEO of Innate Pharma, said the partnership enables initiation of TELLOMAK-3 as "the pivotal next step in advancing lacutamab toward a potential accelerated approval in Sézary syndrome."

Sobi reported revenue of SEK 28 billion in 2025 and has approximately 2,000 employees across Europe, North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia. The information is based on a press release issued Aug. 10, 2026.
