Sirios Resources plans share consolidation and name change

Sirios Resources Inc. (TSXV: SOI) (OTCQB: SIREF) said its board of directors has approved a proposed 15-to-1 share consolidation and a name change to Sirios Mining Inc., both subject to shareholder and regulatory approval.

The Quebec-based mineral exploration company had 672,943,910 common shares outstanding as of September 22, 2026. If the consolidation is completed, the share count would be reduced to approximately 44,862,927 common shares. No fractional shares will be issued, and remainders will be rounded down with no cash consideration paid.

Shareholders are scheduled to vote on both measures at the company's annual and special meeting on October 30, 2026. The changes also require approval from the TSX Venture Exchange. If approved, the shares are expected to trade under the new name while retaining the existing ticker symbol.

The company said the consolidation is intended to improve marketability and liquidity of its common shares, as well as to improve access to capital markets. Outstanding convertible securities will be proportionately adjusted in connection with the consolidation.

Sirios Resources focuses on mineral exploration in Quebec's Eeyou Istchee James Bay region, including its Cheechoo gold deposit.
