Samsonite Group S.A. (SEHK: 1910) announced that Chief Financial Officer Reza Taleghani will step down from his position to join another company, with his departure planned for January 2026.

Taleghani, who also serves as Executive Vice President and Treasurer, informed the luggage company of his intention to leave and will remain through January 2026 to ensure continuity during the transition period, according to a company statement.

The executive joined Samsonite in 2018 and has served as CFO for seven years. Chief Executive Officer Kyle Gendreau said Taleghani "has been instrumental in helping navigate our company through macroeconomic uncertainty and positioning our business for long-term profitable growth."

Samsonite will begin searching for a new CFO and plans to announce the appointment at a later date. The company confirmed that Taleghani's departure is not related to any disagreement with the company's auditor, Board of Directors, or management regarding accounting principles, financial statement disclosure, or internal controls.

Taleghani stated that his decision represents "the right time for me to take on a new challenge professionally" and expressed pride in his role during Samsonite's "strategic evolution."

Samsonite operates a portfolio of travel luggage and lifestyle bag brands including Samsonite, TUMI, and American Tourister. The company sells products through wholesale channels, company-operated retail stores, and e-commerce platforms across Asia, North America, Europe, and Latin America.
