SONY launches two new wireless turntables priced at $399 and $499

Sony Electronics announced two new turntable models, the PS-LX3BT and PS-LX5BT, featuring wireless connectivity and automatic playback functions.

The PS-LX3BT will be available for pre-sale starting January 22, 2026, at $399.99 USD and $399.99 CAD through Sony.com, Best Buy, Amazon, and other authorized dealers. The PS-LX5BT will be available for pre-sale this spring at $499.99 USD and $549.99 CAD through the same retail channels.

Both models include Bluetooth connectivity supporting aptX, aptX-Adaptive, and Hi-Res Wireless Audio formats. The turntables feature one-button full auto playback, USB output with three-level gain control for digital recording, and support for both 33⅓ and 45 RPM records in 7-inch and 12-inch formats.

The PS-LX3BT includes an attached audio cable and built-in phono equalizer. The PS-LX5BT features a rigid one-piece body, aluminum tone arm, rubber mat, and gold-plated audio jack for wired connections.

Both turntables come with high-quality cartridges, aluminum platters, and transparent dust covers. The products arrive in recycled packaging as part of Sony's sustainability initiatives.
