SEGG Media Corporation (NASDAQ: SEGG) announced a two-year Web3 and Digital Asset Strategy involving $300 million in digital asset investments and blockchain infrastructure development.
The Fort Worth-based company plans to allocate 80% of deployed capital to a multi-asset cryptocurrency treasury, with initial focus on Bitcoin, while generating validator-based income from Ethereum, Solana, and ZIGChain networks. The remaining 20% will fund acquisitions in sports, media, and gaming sectors.
SEGG Media signed a memorandum of understanding with ZIGChain for strategic partnership in real-world asset tokenization. The company established a Crypto Advisory Board to provide guidance on governance, risk management, and program execution.
The initiative includes plans for tokenized sports and entertainment assets through the company's Sports.com and Concerts.com properties. SEGG Media described the project as creating a "Stock Exchange for Sports and Music Lovers" allowing fans to trade tokenized sports teams and artists.
Implementation will occur across four phases over 18 months, beginning with advisory board activation and validator setup, followed by tokenization pilots and platform expansion.
"Our mission is to responsibly connect traditional markets with blockchain innovation," said Matthew McGahan, Chairman, President and CEO of SEGG Media. "By emphasizing Bitcoin as the foundation of our treasury, we're combining stability with scalability."
Abdul Rafay Gadit, Founder of ZIGChain, stated the partnership "represents a milestone for blockchain adoption at the public-company level."
SEGG Media will report validator activity income through SEC-compliant filings. The company operates as a global sports, entertainment and gaming group with digital properties including Sports.com, Concerts.com and Lottery.com.
