Sports Entertainment Gaming Global Corporation (NASDAQ: SEGG) announced it will serve as the headline sponsor for all global Soccerex events in 2026 and 2027. The partnership spans Europe, North America, and the Middle East, integrating the Sports.com brand into Soccerex's platform.
The collaboration provides SEGG Media access to decision-makers responsible for more than $1 billion in annual football-related commercial spending, according to the company's statement. Soccerex events convene clubs, leagues, federations, investors, and commercial partners from the football industry.
The partnership aligns with SEGG Media's stated objective to acquire a European football club. The company expects the arrangement to generate opportunities in content distribution, sponsorship, strategic investments, and development of Sports.com's media and streaming presence.
"Sports.com isn't just partnering with Soccerex - they're stepping into the center of the global football ecosystem at a time when the industry is evolving faster than ever," said Garrett Armando Navia, CEO of Soccerex.
Marc Bircham, SEGG Media Chairman, stated the timing coincides with the company's pursuit of acquiring a European football club. "We also view this partnership as an execution platform designed to convert access into measurable commercial outcomes and accelerate the monetization of the Sports.com brand," Bircham said.
Soccerex has operated as a football business platform for 30 years, hosting events that bring together industry stakeholders. The company provides structured commercial platforms and year-round digital engagement for the football business community.
SEGG Media operates a portfolio of digital assets including Sports.com, Concerts.com, TicketStub.com, and Lottery.com, focusing on fan engagement and gaming experiences.
