Rush Enterprises names Jody Pollard as Chief Operating Officer
Rush Enterprises Inc. (NASDAQ: RUSHA and RUSHB) announced that Jody Pollard will serve as Chief Operating Officer, replacing Jason Wilder who has left the company.
Wilder joined Rush Enterprises in November 2006 as General Manager of the Atlanta medium-duty location and became Chief Operating Officer in November 2024. According to Chairman and CEO W.M. "Rusty" Rush, Wilder's departure was related to his commute from Atlanta to the company's Texas headquarters.
Pollard previously held the position of Senior Vice President of Truck Sales and Aftermarket Sales from March 2021. Prior to that role, he served as Senior Vice President of Operations from 2017 to 2021. His experience with the company spans from 1999 to 2017 in various dealership management positions, including Regional General Manager of the North Texas and Oklahoma Region for six years.
During his tenure with Rush Enterprises, Pollard supervised operations at 19 different company locations and held roles including Body Shop Manager, Service Manager, Regional Outside Sales Manager, and General Manager. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Leadership & Development from Texas A&M University.
Michael McRoberts, who served as Chief Operating Officer from 2016 to 2024 and is currently a Senior Advisor and Board member, will assist Pollard during the transition period.
Rush Enterprises operates what it describes as the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in North America, with more than 150 locations across 23 states and Ontario, Canada. The company represents multiple truck and bus manufacturers including Peterbilt, International, Hino, Isuzu, and Ford.
