Riskified names eToro co-founder Ronen Assia to its board

Riskified (NYSE: RSKD) announced the appointment of Ronen Assia as an independent director to its board of directors, effective June 25, 2026.

Assia is co-founder of eToro (NASDAQ: ETOR) and currently serves as its executive director. He also serves as managing partner at Team8, a venture group focused on financial infrastructure companies. He holds a BA in industrial design from Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design and an MA in product design from the Royal College of Art in London.

Following the appointment, Riskified's board will consist of nine directors, seven of whom qualify as independent under New York Stock Exchange listing rules.

Eido Gal, chairman and chief executive officer of Riskified, said Assia has "built and scaled technology products" over more than two decades and that "his perspective and expertise will be a tremendous asset" as the company continues investing in its platform.
