Investing.com -- Reddit showed the strongest average revenue per user growth among major social media platforms in the second quarter of 2026, according to Bank of America analysis released Monday.
The platform's US ARPU climbed 50% year-over-year to $11.30 in the second quarter. Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: META) followed with $125 ARPU, up 31% year-over-year, while Snap (NYSE: SNAP) reached $10.30, up 23% year-over-year. Pinterest (NYSE: PINS) posted $25.20, up 14% year-over-year, and YouTube recorded an estimated $45.60, up 12% year-over-year.
In international markets, Reddit also led ARPU growth with a 46% year-over-year increase to $2.10. Meta's international ARPU rose 17% year-over-year to $15.10, Snap grew 16% year-over-year to $1.60, YouTube increased 12% year-over-year to an estimated $2.40, and Pinterest gained 5% year-over-year to $1.70.
Bank of America noted Reddit likely benefits from lower advertising loads compared to competitors. The firm pointed to Meta's ARPU growth at large scale and its AI-driven monetization improvements.

Pinterest led daily active user growth in both US and international markets at 17% year-over-year in each region. Reddit's US DAUs fell 7% year-over-year but grew 13% year-over-year internationally.
