Primega Group shareholders approve name change to DirectBooking Technology
Primega Group Holdings Limited (NASDAQ: ZDAI) announced that shareholders approved a proposal to change the company's name to "DirectBooking Technology Co., Ltd." during an extraordinary general meeting held September 11 in Hong Kong.
The special resolution was approved by at least two-thirds of votes cast by shareholders present in person or by proxy at the meeting. The name change remains subject to approval by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands.
The meeting was held at 9:00 a.m. at Room 2912, 29/F., New Tech Plaza, 34 Tai Yau Street, San Po Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong, with Tan Yu serving as chairperson. The resolution also approved the adoption of "直订科技有限公司" as the company's Chinese name.
The board of directors stated the name change will align with the company's strategic goals in technological innovation and core business development. According to the company, it is committed to empowering traditional industries, particularly hospitality and retail sectors, through technology.
Primega Group is a Cayman Islands-registered holding company that provides transportation and construction engineering services. The company has stated it aims to transform traditional industries and has described itself as integrating liquor production, research and development, and sales operations.
The name change will take effect when the new English and Chinese names are entered in the register maintained by the Registrar of Companies in the Cayman Islands and a certificate of incorporation on change of name is issued.
