Pitney Bowes Inc. (NYSE: PBI) appointed Todd Everett as executive vice president and president of its Sending Technology Solutions division, the company announced. Everett previously served as CEO of Newgistics Inc., which Pitney Bowes acquired in 2017 for $475 million.
Everett has three decades of experience in logistics, shipping and technology sectors. He joined Pitney Bowes' board of directors in 2023 and is stepping down from that role to assume the executive position. He replaces Shemin Nurmohamed, who departed the company.
The company also appointed Wayne Walker as an independent board member. Walker has served as president of Walker Nell Partners Inc. since founding the consulting firm in 2004. He currently serves on the boards of Outdoor Holding Company (NASDAQ: POWW), StableX Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: SBLX), and PharmaCyte Biotech Company (NASDAQ: PMBC).
Pitney Bowes restructured leadership of its Global Financial Services division, including The Pitney Bowes Bank. Bank leadership will now report directly to CEO Kurt Wolf, while other financial services leadership will report to CFO Paul Evans or SVP of Information Technology Wes Kirschner. Christopher Johnson, who previously led the division, stepped down from his roles.
The changes are part of Pitney Bowes' strategic review announced in May 2024. The company provides shipping software solutions, mailing services and financial services to clients including more than 90% of Fortune 500 companies.
