Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) announced that the U.S. Federal Trade Commission granted early termination of the waiting period under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act for its pending acquisition of Metsera (NASDAQ: MTSR).
The FTC clearance satisfies the regulatory review requirements for the previously announced acquisition. The original waiting period was set to expire on November 7.
