Perimeter Medical Imaging AI adds CFO Michelle Caron to its board

Perimeter Medical Imaging AI, Inc. (TSX-V: PINK) (OTCQX: PYNKF) has appointed Michelle Caron, CPA, to its board of directors, effective immediately, according to a company statement.

Caron currently serves as chief financial officer of A10 Networks, a Nasdaq-listed company. Her prior roles include CFO of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences, group financial officer of Pall, and CFO of Phenomenex, all operating companies under Danaher Corporation. Earlier in her career she held finance and controller positions at Philips Healthcare and Stryker Biotech.

Caron holds an MBA from Southern Connecticut State University and a BSc in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University.

CEO Adrian Mendes said in the statement, "Her extensive finance leadership experience, including her current role as Chief Financial Officer of A10 Networks and her prior tenure across Danaher Corporation's life sciences businesses, will be a significant asset as we continue to scale our commercial operations."

Perimeter, headquartered in Toronto and Dallas, develops imaging tools for use in cancer surgery. Its Claire OCT System, which received U.S. Food and Drug Administration clearance, is an AI-enabled device used as an adjunct tool during lumpectomy procedures to identify areas suspicious for breast cancer.
