Pasqal names new chief product and human resources officers

Pasqal (NASDAQ: PSQL), a neutral-atom quantum computing company, announced the appointment of Roberto Mauro as Chief Product Officer and Joëlle Lumb as Chief Human Resources Officer, according to a company statement.

Mauro brings 30 years of experience in strategy, product management, business development and innovation across Europe, Asia and the United States. He joined Pasqal in January 2024, where he helped build the company's Asia-Pacific presence and developed strategic research collaborations. Prior to Pasqal, he spent two decades in senior leadership roles at Samsung focused on data, artificial intelligence and quantum technologies, and held international business development roles at Cisco. Mauro holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an MBA from IMD.

In his new role, Mauro will oversee Pasqal's product strategy and roadmap, covering hardware, software, cloud and services.

Lumb brings more than 15 years of C-suite experience in human resources and organizational transformation. She previously held senior HR leadership roles at NielsenIQ and Nielsen, covering Europe, the Middle East, Africa and other international markets. She holds an executive master's degree in human resources from ESSEC Business School and an engineering degree in agronomy from ENSAR.

As Chief Human Resources Officer, Lumb will lead Pasqal's global people strategy, organizational design, leadership development and culture initiatives.

Pasqal is headquartered in France and operates globally, with customers including Saudi Aramco, Crédit Agricole CIB and LG Electronics.
