ParaZero partners with XTEND for drone interception technology
ParaZero Technologies Ltd. (NASDAQ: PRZO) announced a strategic partnership with XTEND to integrate drone interception capabilities. The collaboration combines ParaZero's DefendAir net-launching system with XTEND's Scorpio 1000 drone platform.
The integration enables autonomous interception of hostile drones through detection, tracking, and high-speed pursuit using kinetic net capture technology. XTEND operates under JFB Construction Holdings (NASDAQ: JFB).
ParaZero's DefendAir system will be mounted on XTEND's Scorpio 1000 drone, which the companies describe as having high payload capacity and maneuverability capabilities. The system aims to minimize collateral damage during drone interception operations.
"We are proud to partner with XTEND, a leader whose drones are proven in real-world operations," said Ariel Alon, ParaZero CEO. "We believe that this combination strengthens our position as providers of advanced defense solutions and offers military users more effective and safer interception capabilities against drone threats."
Aviv Shapira, CEO of XTEND, stated that the partnership accelerates their vision of autonomous systems collaborating across air, ground, and maritime domains.
The companies plan to develop and demonstrate their joint counter-unmanned aircraft system solution for defense forces and homeland security organizations worldwide. Both companies are based in Israel, with ParaZero founded in 2014 and XTEND reporting over 10,000 systems deployed across more than 30 countries.
ParaZero specializes in drone safety and defense systems, while XTEND focuses on AI-powered robotics for high-threat operational environments.
