Panoro Minerals signs cooperation deal with Cotabambas municipality

Panoro Minerals Ltd. (TSXV: PML) (BVL: PML) (FSE: PZM) (OTCQB: POROF) has signed a cooperation agreement with the Municipality of Cotabambas in Peru, according to a company press release dated September 16, 2026.



The agreement focuses on social development initiatives alongside the advancement of Panoro's Cotabambas Copper, Gold and Silver Project, located in the Apurimac region of southern Peru. Planned initiatives, led by the Municipality, will center on upgrading local roads and access routes across the eight neighborhoods that make up the Municipality of Cotabambas.



The company states that the agreement follows similar cooperation agreements signed with earlier municipal administrations in previous years.



"We are very excited to be strengthening our presence and our commitment to the District of Cotabambas. This Agreement reaffirms our commitment to work hand in hand with the Municipality and the communities of Cotabambas, contributing to a relationship of trust and collaboration and combining our efforts toward shared long-term goals," said Luquman Shaheen, President and CEO of Panoro.



Panoro also noted it was invited to participate in the 2026 Independence Day parade in the District of Cotabambas, held on July 29, 2026.



The Cotabambas Project hosts indicated mineral resources of 507.3 million tonnes grading 0.33% copper, 0.20 g/t gold, and 2.42 g/t silver, along with inferred mineral resources of 496.0 million tonnes grading 0.27% copper, 0.17 g/t gold, and 2.53 g/t silver. The project is 100% owned by Panoro.
