Palantir and Surf Air Mobility expand SurfOS software partnership

June 29, 2026 6:59 AM EDT

Palantir Technologies (NASDAQ: PLTR) and Surf Air Mobility (NYSE: SRFM) announced an expansion of their existing partnership to accelerate the development and commercial release of additional SurfOS software products, according to a press release from the companies.

Under the expanded agreement, both companies will commit additional engineering and go-to-market resources toward OperatorOS, OwnerOS, and SurfOS Enterprise Solutions. The expansion follows the commercial launch of BrokerOS and a previously announced multi-million-dollar contract with Wheels Up, a private aviation provider, to serve as the launch customer for Enterprise BrokerOS.

SurfOS is built on Palantir's AIP and Foundry platforms and is designed to provide software tools for aircraft operators, brokers, owners, and manufacturers in the private aviation and air mobility markets.

Ted Mabrey, Global Head of Commercial at Palantir, said: "Private aviation and air mobility are large, growing markets that have historically relied on fragmented systems and manual processes. With Foundry and AIP powering SurfOS, we see a clear opportunity to build and define the central operating system for the future of aviation and air mobility."

Liam Fayed, Co-Founder of Surf Air Mobility, said: "The expansion of our partnership with Palantir will enable us to deploy and expand SurfOS more rapidly into the end markets."

The expanded partnership includes dedicated resources from both companies, accelerated product development timelines, and deployment of AIP agents across SurfOS products. Surf Air Mobility's software targets segments including chartered air transport, private aircraft sales, and MRO aftermarket services.
