OpenTable and Visa have announced a renewed multi-year agreement covering the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, expanding the Visa Dining Collection and broadening an exclusive events program across the three countries, according to a press release from OpenTable.

The renewed agreement extends the Visa Dining Collection to additional cities in Mexico, including Mexico City, Monterrey, Los Cabos, and Cancun, as well as Canadian cities Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, and surrounding areas. Participating restaurants range from Michelin-starred venues to local establishments. Returning restaurants include Mon Lapin and RĂ´tisserie La Lune in Montreal, LOREA and Pargot in Mexico City, and KOLI in Monterrey.

Eligible Visa cardholders in Mexico and Canada will have access to exclusive restaurant reservations and a new roster of dining events. Visa Infinite cardholders traveling to Mexico or Canada will be able to book held tables and events at participating restaurants, while those visiting the U.S. can access special events.

In the U.S., OpenTable and Visa are extending their events program through 2029. Over the past two years, the partnership hosted more than 80 events, the majority of which sold out. Past events included chef collaboration dinners and after-hours dining experiences.

"To-date, OpenTable and Visa have helped restaurants fill millions of seats, translating to increased revenue potential for restaurants, while creating memorable experiences for diners," said Robin Chiang, Chief Growth Officer at OpenTable.

A survey conducted by WALR among 1,527 U.S. respondents between September 3 and September 9, 2025, found that 48% of Americans said they are more likely to dine at a restaurant when it is hosting a pop-up, collaboration, or special experience.

OpenTable is a subsidiary of Booking Holdings (NASDAQ: BKNG) and serves more than 70,000 restaurants worldwide.
