Nukkleus changes name to T3 Defense, adopts ticker DFNS
Nukkleus Inc. announced a corporate rebranding to T3 Defense Inc. and changed its ticker symbol from NUKK to DFNS on NASDAQ, effective February 9, 2026. The company said the rebrand reflects its strategy as a holding entity focused on acquiring defense businesses.
The name change requires no action from shareholders, and the company's common stock continues trading on NASDAQ under the new ticker symbol DFNS.
"Defense bottlenecks don't show up in headlines; they show up on factory floors, in qualification queues, and in programs that can't afford delays," said CEO Menny Shalom. "We've built a portfolio of defense businesses with long-term contracts, deep qualifications, and real operating constraints."
T3 Defense operates through subsidiaries that support defense programs including missile defense and air-defense systems. The company stated that several subsidiaries participate in Israel's national missile defense architecture, including Iron Dome, along with other multi-year defense contracts.
The company targets acquisitions in three areas: operational businesses where performance improvements can be implemented quickly, production facilities that serve as bottlenecks in defense manufacturing, and companies with established relationships with prime defense contractors.
T3 Defense's subsidiaries operate across engineering, manufacturing, and software sectors, providing components and systems for defense programs. The company aims to expand industrial capacity in areas where qualification requirements and delivery reliability are priorities for defense contractors.
