Niagen Bioscience, Inc. (NASDAQ: NAGE) said its wholly owned subsidiary, NAD Pharmaceuticals Corp., has engaged life sciences advisory firm Red Sky Partners and independent advisor Martin Hendrix, Ph.D., to support the development of its investigational drug candidate NB4168 and broader corporate strategy.

Red Sky Partners advisors Pauline Jen Ryan and Christopher Kiritsy will focus on drug development, fundraising, strategic transactions, and commercialization. Ryan has nearly four decades of experience advising biotechnology companies and previously served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at ImmunoGen, where she helped raise close to $300 million. Kiritsy played a central role in building Kos Pharmaceuticals, which developed the Niaspan® franchise and was acquired by Abbott Laboratories for approximately $4 billion. Kiritsy currently serves on the board of Palvella Therapeutics (NASDAQ: PVLA).

Hendrix, who previously led merger and acquisition initiatives at Nestlé Health Science, brings more than two decades of experience in licensing, venture investment, and strategic portfolio development. He began his career as a research chemist at Bayer before transitioning into corporate development.

NB4168 is a small molecule investigational drug candidate targeting rare genetic diseases and aging-related disorders. The company's initial focus is Ataxia Telangiectasia, a rare genetic disease caused by mutations in the ATM gene that leads to progressive neurological decline. No FDA-approved therapies currently exist for the condition.

"They add deep expertise in corporate strategy, transactions, and M&A," said Rob Fried, CEO of Niagen Bioscience, referring to the newly engaged advisors.
