NiCE (Nasdaq: NICE) and RingCentral, Inc. (NYSE: RNG) announced an expansion of their partnership through a new multi-year agreement under which NiCE will resell RingCentral's unified communications as a service (UCaaS) product, RingEX.
The companies also extended their existing agreement to market and sell RingCentral Contact Center, powered by NiCE CXone, for an additional year.
The expanded arrangement makes the partnership bi-directional. RingCentral will continue offering NiCE's CXone contact center platform to its customers, while NiCE will now offer RingCentral's UCaaS platform to organizations seeking an integrated customer experience and employee communications solution.
The two companies have maintained a partnership since 2015. Their combined platform connects contact center agents with back-office staff, with real-time presence and the ability to add a subject-matter expert into a live customer interaction.
"NiCE has been a trusted partner for more than a decade, and this expansion takes our relationship to a new level," said Vlad Shmunis, founder, chairman and CEO of RingCentral. "We're now giving businesses of all sizes a proven, integrated path to modernize how they connect, collaborate, and serve their customers."
Scott Russell, CEO of NiCE, said the expanded partnership brings together "elite employee communications and an enterprise-grade CX platform, deeply integrated and ready to scale with AI."
The expanded partnership offerings are available immediately, according to the press release.
