NextPlat subsidiary develops AI-powered healthcare analytics software
NextPlat Corp (NASDAQ: NXPL) announced that its ClearMetrx subsidiary has begun late-stage development of ClearMetrX 4.0, an artificial intelligence-enhanced healthcare data analytics and reporting software platform.
The company expects to deploy the software internally in the fourth quarter of 2025, with plans to commercialize it for customer use in the first half of 2026, according to a press release statement.
ClearMetrX is a cloud-based reporting platform currently used across NextPlat's pharmacies and client network to streamline data analytics for physicians, management services organizations, 340B entities, and pharmacies.
The new version will include AI-powered features such as revenue forecasting using machine learning models, predictive inventory management, real-time anomaly detection for prescribing and dispensing patterns, automated audit assistance and compliance reporting, fraud detection analytics, and scenario modeling capabilities.
"Since its introduction, ClearMetrX has demonstrated its capabilities to positively impact not only the business of healthcare for us and a growing list of customers, but importantly, support better outcomes through improved patient adherence," said Birute Norkute, Vice President of Healthcare Operations at NextPlat.
The press release cited Grandview Research data indicating the global AI in healthcare market was valued at $26.57 billion in 2024 and is projected to reach $187.69 billion by 2030, representing a compound annual growth rate of 38.62% from 2025 to 2030.
NextPlat operates as a global consumer products and services company providing healthcare and technology solutions through e-commerce and retail channels. The company also runs pharmacy and healthcare data management services in the United States through its Progressive Care subsidiary.
