NextPlat healthcare unit wins prescription fulfillment contract

NextPlat Corp (NASDAQ: NXPL, NXPLW) announced that its PharmcoRx subsidiary has been awarded a multi-state prescription fulfillment services contract from virtual healthcare provider DevotedDOc.



The exclusive agreement will begin with prescription fulfillment services for patients in Florida and Georgia in November. NextPlat stated it is working to expand the services nationally, as PharmcoRx holds non-resident pharmacy licenses in Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Utah.



DevotedDOc operates as a virtual medical group providing urgent care and Medication-Assisted Treatment for opioid use disorder, along with compounded alternatives to GLP-1 medications including semaglutide and tirzepatide for weight loss and hormone replacement therapy. The company serves patients virtually nationwide and maintains physical clinic locations in Florida, Oklahoma, New Mexico, and Georgia.
