Newcleo begins trading on Nasdaq under ticker NWCL
Newcleo plc, a nuclear technology company developing advanced modular reactors and nuclear fuel, began trading its ordinary shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market on Sept. 22, 2026, under the ticker symbol NASDAQ: NWCL. The company's warrants are trading under the symbol NASDAQ: NWCLW.
The listing follows a business combination between NewHold Investment Corp III and newcleo. The company said it plans to use its public market presence to support operations across Europe and the United States, including completing a 10 MWth non-nuclear demonstrator in Italy and advancing regulatory interactions with U.S. and French nuclear safety authorities.
"Today marks a pivotal milestone for newcleo as we bring our technology to the public markets," said Stefano Buono, CEO and co-founder of newcleo. "As a Nasdaq-listed company, we have the capital and the platform to accelerate deployment of our reactor and fuel manufacturing technology across Europe and the United States, and to advance our mission of closing the nuclear fuel cycle."
Newcleo's technology is based on lead-cooled fast reactors paired with fuel manufactured from recycled nuclear materials. The company employs more than 900 people across Europe and the United States. This information is based on a press release issued by the company.
