Netcapital acquires Iverson Design for 980,000 shares

Netcapital Inc. (NASDAQ: NCPL) announced the acquisition of assets from Iverson Design, LLC, a creative studio that develops AI-powered design and visualization tools. The company issued 980,000 shares of common stock as consideration for the transaction.

The acquisition includes Iverson Design's intellectual property portfolio, comprising AI-driven design, animation, and real-time rendering technologies. Michael Iverson, who led the studio, joins Netcapital as Chief Design Director and Head of AI Experience.

Iverson Design specializes in motion graphics, 3D product visualization, investor presentations, and digital experiences. The studio's capabilities will support Netcapital's expansion into tokenization and digital asset offerings.

The acquisition aims to provide AI-assisted design workflows, 3D visualization capabilities for tokenized assets, and design templates for investor materials. Netcapital operates as a digital private capital markets ecosystem.

Michael Iverson stated his experience involves "using design and AI to make the impossible feel simple and exciting" and expressed intent to apply similar approaches to tokenization concepts.
