NetEase executive Yingfeng Ding to retire after 23 years
NetEase Inc. (NASDAQ: NTES) announced that Yingfeng Ding will retire from his position as Executive Vice President and head of the Interactive Entertainment Group on December 31, 2025, after 23 years with the company.
Ding led NetEase's Interactive Entertainment Group, which is part of the company's online games division. Chief Executive Officer William Ding said in a statement that Yingfeng Ding "played a pivotal role behind the success of our flagship titles and was instrumental in building our R&D and operational capabilities."
Following his retirement, Ding will serve as a consultant to NetEase in 2026, according to the company's announcement made on December 26, 2025.
NetEase operates as an internet and game services provider, developing mobile and PC games in China and internationally. The company also owns majority stakes in Youdao (NYSE: DAO), an intelligent learning platform, and NetEase Cloud Music (HKEX: 9899), an online music platform.
The information was disclosed in a press release statement from the Hangzhou-based company.
