NVIDIA Corporation (NASDAQ: NVDA) announced an expanded partnership with Microsoft at Microsoft Build to develop a unified computing stack for agentic AI deployment across Windows devices, Azure cloud, and local systems.
The partnership introduces RTX Spark laptops and DGX Station for Windows systems. RTX Spark devices will deliver 1 petaflop of AI performance with up to 128GB of unified memory, arriving this fall from Microsoft Surface, ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, and MSI. DGX Station for Windows, powered by the NVIDIA GB300 Grace Blackwell Ultra Desktop Superchip, will provide up to 748GB of memory and 20 petaflops of FP4 performance for enterprise applications.
NVIDIA's Nemotron 3 Ultra reasoning model will be available on Microsoft's Foundry managed compute service this month, alongside existing models from Anthropic and OpenAI. The companies integrated NVIDIA accelerated computing into Microsoft Fabric Data Warehouse, which Microsoft's internal benchmarks show delivers SQL execution up to 6 times faster than CPU-powered systems.
Microsoft's Fairwater Wisconsin AI facility has begun operations ahead of schedule, running hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA Grace Blackwell systems. Microsoft validated NVIDIA's Vera Rubin platform for deployment across Azure data centers, which the companies say provides up to 10 times inference throughput per megawatt compared to previous systems.
The partnership also includes NVIDIA OpenShell security runtime integration with GitHub Copilot and Microsoft's adoption of NVIDIA's Cosmos 3 model for physical AI applications. Microsoft will offer Foundry Local on Azure Local using NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition platforms for on-premises deployments.
The information comes from a press release statement from NVIDIA.
