NEC Corporation receives Cisco Gold Provider certification
NEC Corporation (TSE: 6701) announced it has achieved Cisco Gold Provider status, a certification recognizing the company's capabilities in delivering Cisco solutions. The designation qualifies NEC and its country affiliates registered as Cisco Partners to provide Cisco expertise and service delivery to customers globally.
NEC and Cisco established a Global System Integrator Agreement in 2021. The partnership has expanded across multiple countries and solution domains, including AI and automation software innovations. NEC has served global companies including Telenor, Telefonica, and TIM Brazil through this alliance.
NEC obtained the certification after completing Cisco's audit process, with particular recognition for its managed services capabilities. The Gold Provider status reflects NEC's ability to design, deploy, and support Cisco solutions.
"We are delighted to recognize NEC as a Gold Provider - a status that reflects years of strategic collaboration between Cisco and NEC and a shared commitment to deliver customer excellence," said Jason Teller, Vice President, Global Sales, Internet and Mass-Scale Infrastructure at Cisco.
The companies plan to continue collaboration across AI datacenters, cybersecurity, digital transformation through AI and automation, and Private 5G technologies for service providers, enterprises, and government organizations.
Masayuki Kayahara, Corporate SVP, Global Network Division at NEC Corporation, stated the company remains "committed to helping our customers grow their businesses through our deep collaboration with Cisco."
