October 13, 2025 5:09 AM EDT

NASDAQ (NASDAQ: NDAQ) announced it has halted trading in Smart Digital Group Limited shares while requesting additional information from the company, according to a statement released on October 11, 2025.

The trading halt follows a Securities and Exchange Commission suspension of SDM shares from September 29, 2025, through October 10, 2025. The company's ordinary shares last traded at $1.85.

Trading will remain suspended until Smart Digital Group Limited provides the information requested by NASDAQ. The exchange did not specify what additional information it is seeking from the company.

The SEC's trading suspension order preceded NASDAQ's current halt by approximately two weeks. The regulatory actions affect the company's ability to trade on public markets.

Smart Digital Group Limited must satisfy NASDAQ's information request before trading can resume. No timeline was provided for when the company might fulfill these requirements.
