Mercedes-Benz USA reports 1% retail sales increase for 2025
Mercedes-Benz USA reported retail sales of 303,200 passenger cars in 2025, representing a 1% increase compared to 2024, according to a company statement. Combined with van sales of 40,000 units, total retail sales reached 343,200 units.
The GLE SUV, manufactured in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, recorded its highest annual retail sales with 14% year-over-year growth. The GLC model showed a 20% increase in retail sales for 2025.
Mercedes-AMG performance vehicles achieved a 12% increase in retail sales, marking what the company described as its best year on record. The G-Class recorded a 26% sales increase compared to 2024.
Other model performance included the CLE with 53% growth and the GLA leading the entry segment with a 21% increase in retail sales year-over-year.
Mercedes-Benz Vans reported 40,000 units retailed in 2025, with fourth-quarter sales of 12,400 units representing a 1% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Globally, Mercedes-Benz Group sold 2,160,000 cars and vans in 2025. The fourth quarter marked 558,400 units sold, representing a 6% increase compared to the third quarter of 2025.
"We enter 2026 with a steadfast, customer-centric focus on excellence," said Adam Chamberlain, president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz USA.
The sales figures are preliminary and subject to change pending final reports, according to the company statement.
