Maris-Tech receives $280,000 order for Peridot Night imaging systems
Maris-Tech Ltd. (Nasdaq: MTEK, MTEKW) announced it has received an order of approximately $280,000 for its Peridot Night systems, intended for observation and terrain dominance applications, according to a press release issued by the Israel-based company.
The Peridot Night system is a compact, ruggedized device that combines thermal cameras with a full HD day camera, offering a 90-degree field of view per module. The system includes onboard artificial intelligence capabilities designed to support object detection and classification, and can transmit video to an external observation platform.
Maris-Tech completed development of the Peridot Night system earlier in 2026. The company states the system is designed for defense and homeland security use cases, including border surveillance, fixed-site monitoring, and terrain dominance.
"For terrain dominance applications, the ability to integrate these capabilities into a small, ruggedized system can be particularly valuable," said Israel Bar, Chief Executive Officer of Maris-Tech. "We are focused on translating our core video and edge-processing technology into practical systems that address specific operational requirements."
