Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), PG&E Corporation (NYSE: PCG), Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) and Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC) announced the launch of EMBERPOINT LLC, a venture focused on wildfire detection, prevention and response technologies.

The venture will integrate artificial intelligence, autonomous systems and command-and-control technologies to help first responders detect fires earlier and coordinate mitigation efforts. EMBERPOINT plans to provide agencies and utilities access to wildfire prevention systems without development costs.

Lockheed Martin will contribute prediction and detection capabilities along with autonomous response and suppression technologies. Pacific Gas and Electric Company, a PG&E Corporation subsidiary, will provide wildfire mitigation experience and risk management programs, subject to regulatory approval.

Salesforce will contribute digital infrastructure to integrate data streams into a unified response system using Agentforce and Slack technologies. Wells Fargo is providing capital investment to fund the venture.

"It's time to change the way we think about wildfires and bring the best of American technology and know-how to this growing threat to lives and property," said Lockheed Martin Chairman, President and CEO Jim Taiclet.

PG&E Corporation CEO Patti Poppe stated the partnership reflects the company's commitment to ending catastrophic wildfires, though Pacific Gas and Electric Company's participation requires regulatory approval.

The EMBERPOINT team and technologies will be developed over the coming months, with demonstrations targeted for 2026. The venture aims to address the increasing frequency and intensity of wildfires, which cause billions of dollars in damage annually.

The information is based on a company press release announcement.
