Linkage Global changes NASDAQ ticker to UZX following DAO transaction
Linkage Global Inc. (NASDAQ: LGCB) announced it will change its ticker symbol to "UZX" effective May 18, 2026, when its Class A ordinary shares begin trading under the new symbol on the Nasdaq Capital Market.
The ticker change follows a token purchase transaction with UZX DAO Foundation that was completed on April 8, 2026. UZX DAO Foundation is a Cayman Islands entity that operates what it describes as a cryptocurrency exchange platform.
The companies plan to integrate UZX DAO Foundation's artificial intelligence technology and digital asset ecosystem into Linkage Global's existing cross-border e-commerce platform infrastructure, according to the press release.
Current shareholders do not need to take any action in connection with the ticker change, and the company's CUSIP number will remain unchanged.
Linkage Global provides cross-border e-commerce integrated services through two business lines: cross-border sales and integrated e-commerce services. The company was founded in 2022 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
UZX DAO Foundation was founded in 2023 and operates through a governance structure it describes as DAO-driven. The foundation's management team includes members with experience from financial and technology companies including Coinbase, Binance, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, and Google.
