Liberty Defense joins NVIDIA Connect Program for AI threat detection
Liberty Defense Holdings Ltd. (TSXV: SCAN, OTCQB: LDDFF, FRANKFURT: LD2) announced it has joined the NVIDIA Connect Program, according to a company press release.
The program provides partners with access to advanced hardware, expert training, and co-development opportunities. Liberty Defense develops AI-based detection solutions for concealed weapons and threats.
Through the partnership, Liberty Defense plans to optimize real-time AI processing, improve threat identification accuracy, and scale deployment across aviation, public venues, schools, and urban infrastructure sectors.
"Acceptance into the NVIDIA Connect Program is an important milestone for Liberty and is expected to allow the Company to harness NVIDIA's advanced GPU technologies, AI frameworks, and collaborative ecosystem to elevate our AI-driven detection capabilities," said Bill Frain, CEO of Liberty Defense.
The company's technology portfolio includes HEXWAVE, for which it holds an exclusive license from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and High-Definition Advanced Imaging Technology body scanner and shoe scanner technologies.
Liberty Defense provides security solutions for high-volume foot traffic areas including airports, stadiums, and schools. The company's HEXWAVE product uses active 3D radar imaging technology for detection of metallic and non-metallic weapons.
The Wilmington, Massachusetts-based company expects the NVIDIA partnership will enable development of advanced coding and AI applications through collaboration with NVIDIA scientists and engineers.
