Legrand signs agreement to buy back up to 500,000 shares
Legrand (Euronext Paris: LR) announced it has signed a contract with an investment services provider to purchase a maximum of 500,000 shares, representing approximately 0.19% of its capital.
The French electrical and digital building infrastructure company said the share buyback program will run from November 10, 2025, through December 30, 2025. The purchased shares will primarily be allocated to performance share plans that are maturing, according to the company's statement.
The buyback operates under authorization granted by shareholders at the Ordinary and Extraordinary General Meeting held on May 27, 2025. The authorization sets a maximum purchase price of €150 per share.
Legrand reported sales of €8.6 billion in 2024. The company is listed on Euronext Paris and is included in the CAC 40, CAC 40 ESG and CAC Transition Climat indexes.
The company also announced its upcoming financial reporting schedule. Legrand plans to release its 2025 annual results on February 12, 2026, with its quiet period beginning January 13, 2026. First-quarter 2026 results are scheduled for May 7, 2026, with the quiet period starting April 7, 2026. The General Meeting of Shareholders is set for May 27, 2026.
