LaFleur Minerals names new CEO, reports Beacon Mill 95% complete

September 9, 2026 9:50 AM EDT

LaFleur Minerals Inc. (CSE: LFLR) (OTCQB: LFLRF) (FSE: 3WK0) has appointed Andrew Elinesky as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, according to a company statement.

Elinesky brings more than two decades of executive and financial leadership experience with public companies in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. He most recently served as President, CEO, and director of Sabre Gold Mines Corp. (TSX: SGLD), where he led the company through a reorganization and its eventual acquisition by Mining Americas Inc. in February 2025. He previously held senior roles at McEwen Mining, including five years as Senior Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer, overseeing financings exceeding $150 million.

Paul Ténière, who previously served as CEO, will remain as President and Director, overseeing technical and operational matters including the Swanson bulk sampling program and the Beacon Gold Mill recommissioning.

The company has granted Elinesky 2,000,000 incentive stock options at an exercise price of $0.40 per share, with a five-year term vesting over two years, subject to Canadian Securities Exchange policies.

LaFleur also reported that recommissioning of its Beacon Gold Mill has reached over 95% completion. Grinding, crushing, ore storage, and thickening circuits are described as essentially complete. The company expects to finish full recommissioning in Q4 2026, pending remaining mill work and repairs to the tailings storage facility.

On August 10 and 11, representatives of Trafigura Canada Limited conducted a two-day site visit to the Beacon Gold Mill and Swanson Gold Project as part of ongoing due diligence for proposed prepayment and gold doré offtake arrangements. The company noted there is no assurance that definitive agreements will be reached.

At the Swanson Gold Project, recent diamond drilling has intersected gold mineralization outside the pit shell used in the company's Preliminary Economic Assessment. Previously reported drilling highlights include 2.95 g/t Au over 80.00 metres and 2.37 g/t Au over 88.05 metres. Any impact on mineral resources will be assessed in a future mineral resource estimate.
