LSI Industries CFO to retire in 2027, successor search underway

LSI Industries Inc. (Nasdaq: LYTS) announced that James E. Galeese, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, will retire on August 31, 2027, after more than a decade with the Cincinnati-based company.
The company has initiated a formal search for his successor, led by the LSI Executive Committee in consultation with a global executive search firm. The search will consider both internal and external candidates, with LSI expecting to name a successor during the first half of calendar year 2027. Galeese has indicated he will support LSI in an advisory capacity following his retirement.
Galeese has served as CFO since 2017. According to the press release, during his tenure he helped oversee more than $500 million deployed across four strategic acquisitions.

LSI Industries manufactures lighting, graphics, and display solutions and employs approximately 3,000 people across 23 manufacturing facilities in the U.S. and Canada.
