Kelly names Joel Leege president of science and technology division
Kelly Services Inc. (NASDAQ: KELYA, KELYB) appointed Joel Leege as president of Kelly Science, Engineering, Technology & Telecom, effective March 16. Leege will report to CEO Chris Layden and join the senior leadership team.
Leege brings nearly three decades of experience in staffing and talent solutions across technology, engineering, life sciences, and finance sectors. He most recently served as president and chief operating officer of Red Oak Technologies, where he led technology services and talent solutions delivery across the U.S. and globally.
Prior to Red Oak, Leege spent nearly seven years at Randstad Digital in executive roles, including chief strategy officer. During his tenure, he helped transform the business into a global technology services firm with revenues exceeding $3 billion. He previously held leadership positions at Prosum, Fahrenheit IT, and Kforce.
"Joel is a proven industry leader with deep operational expertise in specialty staffing and solutions, and a track record of driving above-market growth," Layden said in the announcement.
Leege holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa and a Master's degree in Human Resources & Labor Relations from Michigan State University. He also earned a Certificate in Mergers & Acquisitions from London Business School.
Kelly Services reported revenue of $4.3 billion in 2025 and connects approximately 375,000 people with work annually through its network of suppliers and partners. The Troy, Michigan-based company operates across industries including science, engineering, technology, education, manufacturing, retail, finance, and energy.
