KBS Builders secures $4.2M New Hampshire housing contract

Star Equity Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: STRR) announced that its subsidiary KBS Builders Inc. signed a $4.2 million contract to manufacture a multifamily housing project in New Hampshire.
The contract covers manufacturing 36 modules for six 2-unit buildings totaling 26,088 square feet as part of a residential assisted living facility. The project is designed to achieve net-zero energy efficiency using modular construction methods.
Production is expected to begin in May 2026, with delivery scheduled for completion in the third quarter of 2026. The buildings will utilize advanced building envelope systems, high-performance insulation, and efficient mechanical systems.

Star Equity Holdings operates as a diversified holding company with four divisions: Building Solutions, Business Services, Energy Services, and Investments. KBS Builders operates within the Building Solutions division and provides modular construction for multifamily, workforce housing, student housing, and hospitality sectors.
The company completed its acquisition of Star Operating Companies Inc. in August 2025 and changed its name from Hudson Global Inc. to Star Equity Holdings Inc. in September 2025. The company's stock trades on NASDAQ under the symbols STRR and STRRP.
