James Hardie appoints Samara Toole as chief marketing officer

James Hardie Industries plc (NYSE/ASX: JHX) announced the appointment of Samara Toole as Chief Marketing Officer. Toole will join the executive leadership team and lead marketing strategy across the company's portfolio, including James Hardie, TimberTech, and AZEK Exteriors brands.
Toole brings over 20 years of experience in the home, lifestyle, and consumer product industries. She served as CMO of The AZEK Company since 2021, where she developed a lifestyle marketing approach. Prior to AZEK, she held senior marketing positions at California Closets and Serena & Lily.
"Sam's demonstrated expertise and strategic acumen will further enhance the solid foundation of our marketing organization," said Aaron Erter, CEO of James Hardie. "I am confident that under Sam's leadership, we will continue to elevate our marketing capabilities, deepen customer engagement, and successfully expand our market presence across North America."
Toole stated her focus will be on showcasing product attributes to drive growth across the value chain, building on marketing strategies developed at AZEK.
James Hardie operates as a building materials company with a portfolio that includes fiber cement, fiber gypsum, composite, and PVC decking and railing products. The company operates 31 manufacturing sites, six recycling facilities, and six research and development centers globally with more than 8,000 employees worldwide.
The company markets and sells products throughout North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. James Hardie Industries plc is incorporated in Ireland with principal executive offices in Dublin.
