James Hardie and Beazer Homes sign three-year exclusive deal

James Hardie (NYSE: JHX) Building Products Inc. and Beazer Homes have signed a new three-year exclusive agreement extending their partnership through 2028, according to a company statement released Tuesday.
Under the agreement, Hardie siding and trim products will become the standard for all new Beazer Homes communities nationwide. The deal continues a relationship between the companies that began in 2010.
James Hardie Building Products is a subsidiary of James Hardie Industries plc (NYSE: JHX; ASX: JHX). Beazer Homes trades on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker NYSE: BZH.
"James Hardie is instrumental in helping us deliver quality, energy efficient and beautiful homes to our customers," said Jim Moore, Senior Vice President of Operations for Beazer Homes. "Extending this relationship ensures that we can continue to offer Beazer homeowners trusted protection and design flexibility backed by the proven performance of Hardie products."
Sean Gadd, President of James Hardie North America, said the agreement represents "the strength of our relationship with Beazer Homes and our continued pursuit of innovation, unparalleled quality and customer satisfaction."
James Hardie manufactures fiber cement siding and exterior design solutions. The company states it is the number one brand of siding in North America based on Freedonia 2022 Global Siding demand estimates and James Hardie sales data.
Beazer Homes operates in Arizona, California, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Maryland, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. The company reports having the lowest gross HERS score among the top 30 national homebuilders as of December 2024.
