J.P. Morgan Asset Management launched the JPMorgan 100% U.S. Treasury Securities Money Market ETF (JMMF) on NYSE Arca, marking the firm's entry into the money market ETF space.
The fund invests exclusively in U.S. Treasury obligations, including Treasury bills, bonds, and notes. JMMF offers weekly income distributions, compared to traditional money market mutual funds that typically distribute monthly.
The ETF is managed by Robert Motroni, Christopher Mercy, and Christopher Tufts, who have managed J.P. Morgan's 100% Treasury Securities strategy since 1991. The fund charges 16 basis points in fees.
"We're excited to introduce JMMF, which brings together exposure to U.S. Treasury Securities with the flexibility of an ETF," said Travis Spence, Global Head of ETFs at J.P. Morgan Asset Management.
Unlike traditional money market funds, JMMF will not maintain a stable net asset value using the amortized cost method. Instead, it will calculate its NAV based on the market value of its investments, with share prices fluctuating on the exchange.
J.P. Morgan Asset Management manages $4 trillion in assets as of September 30, 2025. JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE: JPM) had $4.6 trillion in assets and $360 billion in stockholders' equity as of September 30, 2025.
The fund information is based on a company press release.
