Innovative Eyewear, Inc. (NASDAQ: LUCY) reported preliminary, unaudited net sales for the second quarter ended June 30, 2026, of approximately $0.99 million, an increase of approximately 71% compared to the same period a year earlier, according to a company press release.
First-half 2026 net sales reached approximately $1.77 million, also up roughly 71% year-over-year, marking the company's twelfth consecutive quarter of year-over-year revenue growth. The company attributed growth to its Lucyd Armor smart safety eyewear line across direct-to-consumer, online marketplace, and wholesale channels.
During the quarter, the Miami-based company secured an initial purchase order from a Canadian optical retail group operating 345 locations. Product deployment is expected to begin in the third quarter of 2026. The company was also awarded a 50-store test with a major U.S. retailer, set to commence in September 2026.
"Our preliminary second-quarter results reflect broad-based momentum across our smart eyewear portfolio," said Harrison Gross, CEO of Innovative Eyewear.
The company also announced a new product, the Lucyd Aero, described as its lightest smart eyewear to date at under one ounce, with an anticipated launch in October 2026.
The preliminary results are unaudited and remain subject to completion of the company's quarter-end close and auditor review. Full financial results for the second quarter are expected to be released in mid-August 2026.
