Innovative Aerosystems acquires Moog autopilot product line

Innovative Aerosystems (NASDAQ: ISSC) completed the acquisition of Moog's (NYSE: MOG.A) S-TEC Model 3100 general aviation fixed wing autopilot product line, the company announced.
The acquisition adds autopilot technology to Innovative Aerosystems' flight control portfolio. The Exton, Pennsylvania-based company specializes in avionics, flight control, and aerospace systems for commercial, business, and military aircraft.
"This acquisition represents another important step in our strategy to deliver fully integrated avionics and flight control solutions to the global aerospace market," said Shahram Askarpour, Chief Executive Officer of Innovative Aerosystems. "By adding this autopilot product line to our portfolio, we are expanding our flight control capabilities, strengthening long-term customer support, and creating new opportunities for integration across current and future platforms."
Innovative Aerosystems stated it plans to maintain support for existing customers while investing in future enhancements and certification expansion. The company indicated it will integrate the autopilot technology with its broader avionics systems, including flight decks, autothrottle systems, mission computers, and display technologies.
The company operates in commercial, business aviation, and military markets, serving both airframe manufacturers and aftermarket services for fixed-wing and rotorcraft applications.
