Infleqtion to install NVIDIA NVQLink quantum system in Illinois

October 28, 2025 2:31 PM EDT

Infleqtion announced it will install an NVIDIA NVQLink-enabled quantum computing system at the Illinois Quantum & Microelectronics Park. The company said it is among the first to integrate the new NVQLink architecture, which connects quantum processors directly with GPU-accelerated supercomputers.

The installation will feature Infleqtion's Sqale quantum computer equipped with NVQLink technology. NVQLink provides a standardized interface for connecting quantum hardware to AI supercomputers, addressing what the company described as a critical bottleneck in scaling quantum computing.

Infleqtion also announced it is making its Sqale system available through NVIDIA CUDA-Q, allowing researchers to run hybrid quantum-AI algorithms with real-time GPU connectivity. The company plans to launch Sqale-IL at the Illinois facility.

"For years, quantum processors and supercomputers have effectively existed in silos, since they have not had a standardized way to connect to each other," said Pranav Gokhale, CTO of Infleqtion. "Enabling them to operate together in real-time, removes a major bottleneck to scaling quantum computing."

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker said the installation demonstrates the state's position in quantum and AI supercomputing development. The Illinois Quantum & Microelectronics Park was built for quantum technology scale-up and advanced microelectronics research.

Infleqtion announced plans in September to go public through a merger with Churchill Capital Corp X (NASDAQ: CCCX). The company will showcase its NVQLink work at GTC DC and participate in tutorials at the SC supercomputing conference in November.

The information is based on a company press release.
