Imunon names new interim CFO as predecessor retires

Imunon, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMNN) announced that Jeffrey Church, who has served as interim Chief Financial Officer since January 2026, informed the company of his intent to retire from the position effective July 1, 2026.

To assist with the transition, Church and the company agreed he would continue in a consulting role. Under an amended consulting agreement effective July 1, 2026, Imunon will pay Church a monthly retainer of $10,000, terminable upon two business days' notice. The company stated his departure is due to retirement and involves no disagreements with management.

Effective July 1, 2026, Imunon appointed Josh Blacher as the new interim Chief Financial Officer under a master services agreement dated June 24, 2026, with Danforth Health, Inc., a financial advisory services firm. Blacher will also serve as the company's principal financial officer and principal accounting officer.

Blacher, 54, has been an employee of Danforth since September 2022, providing CFO services in a consulting capacity to life sciences companies. He has concurrently served as Managing Partner of Columbus Circle Capital LLC since August 2019. He currently serves as CFO of BullFrog AI Holdings (NASDAQ: BFRG) in a consulting capacity. Previously, he held CFO roles at Galmed Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: GLMD), Therapix Biosciences (NASDAQ: TRPX), and served as Chief Business Officer at Inmed Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: INM). Earlier in his career, he held senior positions at Teva Pharmaceuticals, Deutsche Asset Management, and Morgan Stanley.
