March 17, 2026 8:30 AM EDT

Inturai Ventures Corp. (CSE: URAI) announced the formation of a Defence Advisory Board to guide its expansion into defence and national security markets, according to a company press release.

The advisory board includes three members with military and defence technology backgrounds. Rear-Admiral (Ret.) Casper Donovan served 35 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and held the position of Deputy Commander of the Royal Canadian Navy. After his military career, he served as Co-Executive Director of Canada's Commission of Inquiry into Foreign Interference.

Alex Makrodimitras brings over 22 years of service in the Canadian Armed Forces, including roles within Canadian Special Operations Command. His experience covers operational leadership, mission planning and defence procurement.

Shawn McGowan joins the board with more than a decade of experience in defence technology and strategic partnerships across small defence businesses, prime contractors and startups.

The company's sensing platform combines artificial intelligence with radio and Wi-Fi signal analysis to detect movement and activity without cameras or specialized hardware. These capabilities enable indoor mapping and situational awareness in operational environments.

Inturai stated the advisory board will provide strategic guidance as the company develops its spatial intelligence technologies for defence applications and evaluates partnerships and pilot deployments across North America and allied markets.

The company noted that advisory board members may enter into consulting arrangements for specific projects, with compensation potentially including cash, equity or combinations thereof, subject to regulatory requirements.
