IDB Bank appointed David Park as President of Commercial Banking, effective January 5, 2026, according to a company statement. The New York-based private and commercial bank created the unified role to align its commercial banking operations across New York, California, and Florida under a single national structure.

Park will report directly to Avner Mendelson, President and Chief Executive Officer of IDB Bank. The appointment consolidates the bank's regional commercial banking platforms while maintaining local leadership and market expertise, mirroring the structure of IDB's Private Banking and Wealth Management division.

Park joins IDB Bank with more than 20 years of commercial banking experience. He most recently served as President of Commercial Banking at Axos Bank, where he led national strategy across lending, deposits, and treasury management. He launched more than 20 new business lines and participated in fintech acquisitions while driving growth in loans and deposits.

Previously, Park held senior leadership positions at Banc of California and City National Bank, where he built commercial and business banking teams and expanded middle-market lending platforms.

"David is a proven commercial banking leader with a rare combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, and a deep commitment to relationship banking," said Mendelson in the statement.

IDB Bank is a New York State-chartered commercial bank and subsidiary of Israel Discount Bank Ltd. (TelAviv: DSCT), one of Israel's leading banks. The bank operates offices in California, Florida, and the tristate area, providing private banking and commercial banking services to U.S. and international clients.
