Humanoid Global commits $64,500 to robotics firm Apptronik
Humanoid Global Holdings Corp. (CSE: ROBO, FWB: 0XM1, OTCQB: RBOHF) announced it has committed to an indirect strategic investment of $64,500 in Apptronik Inc. through a private fund that holds shares of the robotics company.
Apptronik develops AI-powered humanoid robots, including its flagship robot Apollo, which is designed for collaboration with humans in work environments. The Austin-based company was founded in 2016 as a spinout from the University of Texas Human Centered Robotics Lab.
Apollo is currently being tested in manufacturing and logistics operations at a European car manufacturer and has partnerships with an AI research laboratory for commercialization efforts. The company plans to expand into retail, healthcare, and home applications.
Apptronik completed an oversubscribed $403 million Series A funding round in March 2025, led by venture capital and technology firms. Apollo received recognition from Fast Company's 2025 Innovation by Design Award and was named to the 2025 CNBC Disruptor 50 and Automotive News All-Stars lists.
"We expect that humanoid–human collaboration will be the cornerstone of this industry's success and its transformative potential," said Shahab Samimi, CEO of Humanoid Global.
Humanoid Global operates as a publicly traded investment issuer focused on building a portfolio of companies in the humanoid robotics and embodied AI sector. The investment has not yet been completed and remains subject to customary closing conditions.
The company stated it will provide additional details regarding the investment and the fund in a future news release.
