Horizon Quantum names new board members ahead of public merger

Horizon Quantum Holdings Ltd. announced expected appointments to its board of directors and leadership team following its planned merger with dMY Squared Technology Group Inc.



The quantum computing software company expects to appoint four new board members: Danielle Lambert, former Apple Inc. vice president of human resources; Peter Oey, chief financial officer of Grab Holdings Ltd.; Jill Turner, chief human resources officer of Broadcom Inc.; and Harry You, chairman of dMY Squared Technology Group.



Lambert previously worked at Apple where she helped build teams behind products including the iPod, iPhone and iPad. She later served as an investor and advisor at Nest Labs Inc. through its acquisition by Alphabet Inc.



Oey currently serves as CFO of Southeast Asian superapp Grab and previously held the same role at LegalZoom.com Inc. before its initial public offering. Turner has more than 20 years of experience in human resources leadership roles at technology companies, including her current position at Broadcom and previous roles at Honeywell International Inc. and Lumen Technologies Inc.



You serves on Broadcom's board and was previously lead independent director of quantum computing company IonQ Inc. He held CFO positions at Accenture plc and Oracle Corporation.



The company also plans to add Catherine Fitzsimons as chief legal and compliance officer, executive vice president of strategic initiatives and company secretary in May. Fitzsimons currently serves as director of strategic initiatives at Fidelity International Ltd. and previously led global product legal at the firm.



Horizon Quantum, founded in 2018, develops software infrastructure for quantum computing applications. The company's integrated development environment, Triple Alpha, enables developers to write quantum programs across multiple hardware platforms.



The appointments are contingent on completion of the merger with dMY Squared Technology Group, according to the company's press release.
